Enrol at Life Without Barriers Education

Life Without Barriers Education New South Wales is currently taking enrolments for 2026.

Limited spots are available for our Newcastle, Dubbo, Grafton and Mount Druitt campuses.

Life Without Barriers Education is a small school ideally suited to young people who:

  • Found that mainstream school does not currently meet their needs
  • Will benefit from tailored support and interventions
  • Could benefit from social and emotional support
  • Could benefit from a targeted literacy and numeracy focus
  • Are ready to invest in themselves and their education
  • Are looking to enrol in either year 7, 8 or 9.

Life Without Barriers Education is a flexible learning school, registered as a special assistance school. We are different to a special needs school.

Life Without Barriers Education demonstrates a commitment to flexibility, persistence and responsiveness, however enrolment in our schools may not be available if there is a substantiated safety concern for staff and/or other students.

Complex or challenging needs are not grounds for exclusion from enrolment consideration.

Filling out the enrolment form does not guarantee a position within the school.

To ensure everyone receives the best assistance, we will work with you to understand individual needs. This will include gathering details on:

  • Previous schooling history
  • Learning, health and support required
  • Existing strategies, supports and adjustments

Life Without Barriers Education’s Student Enrolment Policy and Procedure describes these eligibility criteria in more detail.  If you would like to know if you, or a young person you are supporting, is eligible for enrolment at Life Without Barriers Education, please send us an email at admin@lwbe.edu.au. Make sure you tell us your contact details so we can get in touch.
